Kids Optics™ would like to empower the Digital Generation.
As parents of a five-year-old kid and IT professionals ourselves, we strongly believe in the future of the digital generation – our kids. The exposure to the digital world, electronics, internet and digital devices offers limitless opportunities for learnings BUT poses endless threats and distractions mentally, physically and emotionally especially to kids.
With the continuous information explosion on the internet and restrictions dictated by the recent COVID 19 pandemic, we are all compelled to embrace “the good” and “the bad” of the digital age.
What can we do as parents? Honestly, we don’t think we can stop kids from using and enjoying technology. Technology is here to stay, and we would like our kids to be digitally literate as well. The online learning/ virtual classroom or distance learning arrangements also speed up the adaptation process of going digital as the new medium of education. With proper guidance, we will be able to raise responsible digital citizens who can handle information, social media pressure and leverage digital communication.
Kids Optics™ believes in a more conscious consumption of technology. We want to encourage parents, grandparents, teachers and everyone with kids around them to enable them to learn and live more comfortably and productively in front of the screens.
